Junior year

1. AP Calculus AB - Nguyen
2. Honors English - Conradson
3. French 3 - Topping
4. Anatomy - Henshke
5. AP Chemistry - Meyer
6. Journalism - Colburn

I better get ready to work my ass off this year. I must keep reminding myself that I have GREAT teachers, even though have a reputation for being really hard. Maybe I should have gone the easy road with Roy and Bautista (like freakin' Kevin!)... but I guess I will have to rely on more miracles/hard work this year. On the bright side, I'm superdooperly glad that Physics and US History were taken care of this summer! Two things that I will never have to worry about again. HELL YEAH! :D

I have been so in love with Japanese food lately. I've even grown a bit fond of raw fish (well, just tuna and salmon), but only in dainty little portions. I still have to work up the nerve to get that Sashimi plate that my mom always gets. I don't think a plate of jello-like creatures can really satisfy me.

My brother and I have kinda been on a rollercoaster ride. He can bring out the absolute worst in me and I hate it. I don't want to be annoyed by my brother but I am on a daily basis. And then I remind myself that he is my favorite person in the whole wide world, and then I feel like shit for being mean to him. He's still young, we all make mistakes (even though he seems to make so much more than the average kid). He gets me so stressed out, but he always makes me laugh. He is so odd.

My grandma's health is getting worse. It's starting to really worry me now. I don't want my grandparents to ever get old.

Maybe I overreacted, maybe I didn't; I don't really know. I think we need a real heart-to-heart talk sometime soon.

The carpet being yanked out

My mother told me I can't swim for the next two weeks, ugggggggh!!! god, i'm so pissed. And I think I know why too; she's testing me. She thinks I hang out with people on the team too much and she thinks it's a replay of my "suspicious" behavior from back in 8th grade. She wants to see how mad I get and play me out as a the lying bad guy. WELL IT AIN'T GONNA WORK. Instead of the whining teenager, I'm gonna be the responsible adult and make her the whining teenager. This little experiment should be interesting. I'll figure out the details later... for now, I'm gonna go punch a wall. I WANNA SWIM!!! She can't take that away from me; to do so would mean that she must not know me at all!

Physics finals are over, HALLELUJAH! Professor still hasn't updated grades yet... but I really do hope that I maintain my grade, even with the final that was such a jerk move on her part. I'm really glad I took the class though cause 6 weeks and it's over! Now all that's left is that annoying US History class... and SAT classes that start next week. Aiyaaaa, when will summer truly begin?

Junk food

So Junior Olympics is tomorrow and I'm really scared. I haven't been eating as carefully as I should have. I had an ice cream sundae last night and now I regret it. I don't feel like I'm in really good shape like I was during swim season at MHS. I just feel... normal. Therefore my game plan for tomorrow is just to arrive, warm up, swim, warm down, wait for Gideon and Kelvin to finish, shower, then take a nap during the hour-long ride home... which basically translates to get in, get out, get ahead. 100 back ain't that long anyways. I'll be beyond satisfied if I can reach my PR of 1:04.93 (which seems to be unattainable now), although it was be AWESOME if I drop a few milliseconds. Who knows, I haven't swam at a long course meet in months.

The US History test at Deanza wasn't too horrible. Easier than I thought, but still hard nonetheless. Thank god I had Jonathan, Kevin, and Tram taking it with me. Without that major cram session, I wouldn't have been able to answer a lot of the stupid questions. Sorry Kevin for accidentally-on-purpose dropping your phone. And Tram, those macbook pictures seriously made me laugh so hard that I cried, haha.

I try to use my wishes veeeery carefully. There is a bigger picture. Don't you think it's silly to wish for a short term desire?

Eclipse

Even though I am not a big fan of things that spin, I really wanna go on that ride. It's at the Alameda County fair and apparently, the Fair purchased the ride from Neverland before Michael Jackson died. They even said that the legend himself rode it. It's like a real piece of history.

"Robert Pattinson can even have chemistry with a brick wall. He just has that in him."

I love it and it's probably true. He is so beautiful. But... I think that after reading Eclipse, I am definitely rooting for Jacob Black (but I must read Breaking Dawn first to be sure). Although in reality, Robert Pattinson > Taylor Lautner.

Tomorrow is the first day of US History. Too bad I don't have a textbook yet. Oh, and the fact that history really cannot hold my attention for a time span of more than a few minutes. I am still sick of the whole AP World History ordeal, uuuugh.

But I'm a riot, yeah.

I really don't want to take US history next year. No one else is and I don't want to fall behind cause I wasted a class period taking it. If only Mission didn't have that stupid rule to take only 1 class in the summer! And I can't do Ohlone or Deanza cause they interfere with another class. Ugh. Foothill and San Jose City College have yet to release their summer schedule. I am thinking about filling out the petition for enrollment exceptions but I can't think of a good reason why I should be an exception. Or maybe since they have an online class for US history, taking physics and US history together technically do not count as a 2 classes... hm. I'll ask my counselor next week and hopefully she can help me. All of that has just been bothering me. The more I get done this summer, the less I do next year so I can focus on all those stupid tests I have to take.

I crack my bones a lot. Is that a bad thing? Cause I heard it can mess up your bones. I can't help it though, I feel so stiff all the time. I do stretch every night but I don't think that really affects my bones, other than the fact that I am getting more and more flexible. I hope I don't develop that bone thing, osteoporosis? *knock on wood.

I have absolutely NOWHERE to go this weekend, for once! No Chinese school, no volunteer stuff, no tennis. I love it. Unfortunately, I have more homework to do than usual which is gross. But since I don't have to go anywhere, I can finish it by Saturday and go on a one-day road trip with my family like we always used to do. The weather is supposedly nice this weekend.

Gmail > Yahoo Mail, hands down.

Update

Haven't had the time or effort to blog much (hey, a preview of next year, when I will have no time to do anything whatsoever).

Speaking of next year, it's that time of year to pick classes! I looooove picking classes, more so than I like taking them. My junior year schedule, if everything works out perfectly: Honors English (Hanley), AP US History (Ducote), AP Calculus AB (Nguyen), AP Chemistry (Meyer), Journalism (Colburn), and Ceramics (Already my favorite class haha). I think I have too many AP classes and I am quite sure that I will regret it. But I usually underestimate myself and I do know that if I say that I commit to it, I will. If you aim low, you expect nothing else than failing. Aim high, try harder, get better results, right? (Kinda like my attitude towards swimming? Ehh... not really.)

Also this summer, physics at Mission. I am considering Santa Clara swimming (4 hours of BRUTAL practice a day, plus an hour of conditioning twice a week!) but I don't know if I can handle it. I WANT to get better at swimming and I know I can improve, I'm just unsure if I will be able to keep up. Rumors of Santa Clara really scare the shit out of me.

Speaking of swimming... (wow, everything just flows together!) we lost badly against Santa Clara. This was our last meet before Leagues in a month. Coach was pretty unhappy at the start of the meet, apparently Los Altos was being unfair in something. I got a PR in 500 free though (6:07) and 1st in 100 back (1:06). Even still, I am kinda disappointed about the 100 back cause I am not maintaining my CCS time! Why!? I did it once, can't I do it again? I have 5 weeks left, make it or break it (Ugh, reminds me of stupid, useless STAR testing).

Gideon took a picture of Ryan Lochte in the "steamy" boys locker room! My loves are P, R, and D (in that order, hehe). Only Wendy knows who they are (;

Guess what? I found out something that made me scream today. I still want to scream... WOOOOHOOOO! I can't believe I got it! Well actually, it is still unofficial but STILL! AHHHHHH! :D

Oh yeah, and that alliance is plain stupid. At least have the balls to do it individually, instead of taking a shortcut. It leaves everyone else in the dust and is completely unfair to them. What hypocrites.
