Good good good day

If only I could have more days like October 2, 2009.

Drove myself to school, $1 milk tea with Tram, practice, and back home. Freedom is the bestestestest feeling in the world! I honestly was smiling as I was driving and looking like a dork just because I could control where I wanted to go for once (well not really, but I was in the driver's seat). All thanks to my license, my MHS parking permit, and my cousin's car. Next week = off campus lunch with the girls :)

Meet your new Opinions/Editorial Editor for the MHS Union newspaper! :D It's gonna be a whole lot of work and time commitment, but I am so happy right now. I can't believe I actually got it...

Homecoming is in 2 weeks! I'm excited now, thanks to the message in a bottle, the clues, my friends, and you :)

Now if I could only pass my math and chem test next week, I would have absolutely nothing to complain about. Isn't life beautiful?

Salty tear

So it's my last night here. It's hard to imagine being anywhere else now... this place is really growing on me and I don't want to leave. Milpitas seems so boring in comparison. My camp BFF left and I miss her already, especially our late-night karaoke, bird calls, and nerd dances. But today was good in general, had Chipotle and milk tea after what felt like years. Some people have never even heard of milk tea, can you believe it? What n00bs.

I have a new love for the Beatles. And reminder to self: must watch "My Fair Lady."

Shadow Cliffs

Shadow Cliffs Lake was heeeeella fun yesterday, some of the best times I have had in a long time. Huge wake-up call: my tanline is BAD AS F@#$! I definitely had the most obvious black/white contrast but other swimmers had bad tanlines too. Lots of asscrack (oh my gosh, so many inappropriate pictures!) and stomach tanning. Thank god for seniors with cars (even though Michael's was quite scary haha). Open water swimming in the lake was pretty nasty, there was algae floating around and somebody said that they learned in AP Bio that freshwater fish constantly pee. GROSS! We had to swim 1000 yards (cause it was technically practice for the day) in water that was bipolar cause some areas were warm and some were freezing. Afterwards, volleyball! With no net and on burning hot sand, but it was still one of the funnest volleyball games ever (Courtesy clap, LOL!). Dove for the ball a few times and got a booboo from the sand ): Then we played Patricia's game (Stick your feet in the sand then push people over. Lesson: if you laugh too hard or if the guys push you, you fall over easily) then Chicken ("My head is getting raped by penises!" --says An. Hahaha). On the way back, stopped at Verde for Happy Hour. Buy 1 milk tea, get 1 free :D Totally exhausted from too much sun exposure and the heat (95 degrees!) but definitely worth it.
